Chili Lime Grilled Shrimp

This Chili Lime Grilled Shrimp recipe makes a low carb meal and it’s delicious!

INGREDIENTS:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup olive oil
¼ cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons cilantro
½ teaspoon Ancho chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
DIRECTIONS:
- 1. In a large mixing bowl combine the garlic, oil, tomato sauce, lime juice and cilantro. Season with chili powder and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- 2. Add the shrimp and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- 3. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat. Lightly oil the grate.
- 4. Remove the shrimp from the bowl and thread onto skewers. (If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes.)
- 5. Grill for 3 minutes on each side or until pink and opaque all the way through.
